When is an Arrow Not an Arrow…?

…when it’s a birdhouse!

Bird House Love

As I told you before, there are some super things on the Clearance Rack right now, and I’m showing you projects that you can make with these tools and supplies – so if you see something that you like, get it now at a good price before it’s gone! For example, the What’s Up! Arrow Punch is on sale for $10.19 (regularly $16.95.)

Arrow Punch

Yes, you really can make darling little houses from the squatty arrow on the What’s Up! Punch – and it’s so easy! First I stamped the large Hardwood background stamp with Soft Suede Ink on Crumb Cake card stock, then I punched out two arrows. I punched out just two tops of the arrow from Real Red card stock and two small hearts from the Heart Border Punch and attached both of those to the brown pieces. I stamped the sentiment and leaves from the Crazy About You set with that lovely new In Color green Cucumber Crush ink and then cut the leaves out. I mounted the leaves and the bird houses with foam Dimensionals, and attached Linen Thread from the bird houses to the branch. Finally I stamped the little cardinal from the Festival of Trees set in Real Red on the Very Vanilla panel, and attached it to a Real Red card.

Here are the supplies that I used to make the Bird House Love card. Click on any picture to read more or to order. Just remember that the What’s Up! Punch is actually priced at $10.19 while supplies last!
